Claiming Space: Public Programme

Every Friday throughout the exhibition period, starting Friday January 29th, a panel conversation will be held in the exhibition space between 18:00—20:00.


During the exhibition period, there will also be performances by artists:

Friday 21 January (official opening): Mohamed Mohamed

Sunday, February 20: Carl Aquilizan

Sunday, March 6 (last day of the show): Hamid Waheed


Fotogalleriet is wheelchair accessible. The conversations will mainly happen in Norwegian unless otherwise is indicated.


Physical attendance and registration

The events are free and open to everyone but require booking due to capacity restrictions.

Free tickets will be made available on for each event Wednesday of the same week via Fotogalleriet’s Eventbrite and Facebook page.


Digital attendance and streaming

All panel discussions will be live-streamed on Fotogalleriet and Skeiv Verden's Facebook pages and will be shown in the exhibition room as part of the exhibition the following week during the Fotogalleriet’s opening hours (Wednesday-Sunday 12: 00-17: 00).
